Chicago native Skylar Rogers has been compared to icons of the music industry such as Tina Turner and Etta James and there is no doubt that her infectious blend of Blues Rock is poised to continue to amaze audiences around the globe.

Raised by a mother who also sang, her journey through divorce, a life in the military, the death of a child, truck driving and homelessness, all taught her lessons that can never be forgotten. After a near fatal bout of pneumonia and being diagnosed with several autoimmune diseases, she decided to live life on her own terms. She was determined not to be bound by others’ expectations and this rebellious spirit is evident in all the music she makes. 

Her latest release, “Among the Insanity” (March 2023), received great acclaim with airplay throughout the US and Internationally (8 countries). She received the 2023 Josie Music Award for Blues/ Jazz Song of the Year for her song “Ride That Lightning”, and listed at #5 on the Roots Music Report for Top Blues Rock Album 2023. 

Her latest single release, "A Different Position"  (October 2024) was co-written with and produced by Stuart Epps (Epps Records UK, Elton John, George Harrison, Led Zeppelin, Barry White to name a few) and recorded at Abbey Road Studios, UK. This song lets you discover her work in all its glory and find a world that has all the sassiness of a woman determined to make the most of every opportunity.
